Queen Biopic Halted
Bohemian Rhapsody is the name of the upcoming biopic that will depict the lives of music icon Freddie Mercury and his legendary band Queen.
Fans were excited when they saw how well actor Rami Malek looked as Freddie Mercury, but some were not excited when they found out Bryan Singer would be directing it.
Several people are not fans of Singer after his management of the X-men films, and some aren’t fans of him because of the rumors about his private life.
That said, all fans were upset to find out recently that now the Queen biopic halted its production.
The official explanation is that director Bryan Singer is sick and so the film can’t go on at the moment.
“Twentieth Century Fox Film has temporarily halted production on Bohemian Rhapsody due to the unexpected unavailability of Bryan Singer,” Fox’s statement reads.
Later, Singer’s representative told BBC that he’s dealing with a health issue and that his family is also suffering from health problems.
Bryan hopes to get back to work on the film soon after the holidays,’ the representative added.

That said, some are speculating that there’s more going on here.
With the ongoing Me Too conversations happening in Hollywood, men in power who abused that power to follow their own sexual desires are getting called out.
Bryan Singer already faced trouble when news of his sex parties in Hollywood and forcing young male actors to participate hit. It even caused him to be benched from the X-Men franchise that he made famous.
That said, Singer managed to find his way out of that controversy, but perhaps this disappearance was to mitigate a resurfacing of those allegations.
All of that is merely speculation and gossip, but in Hollywood’s current climate it’s a legitimate thought to have.
What do you think? Do you think Bryan Singer is really sick or do you think there’s more going on?
