Wesley Woods: A Closer Look
Are you into handsome, hairy chested men with a southern twang? Do you dig guys with a sense of humor? Follow performers in the adult film world?
If the answer is yes, then meet Wesley Woods!
The 31-year-old Texas native has lived in different cities around the country. These include Las Vegas and Chicago, where he has entertained crowds at various comedy clubs.
In 2015, he moved to Los Angeles to expand his career in comedy and adult film.
GPB recently caught up with Wesley as he prepares for the annual AVN awards where he is being nominated for Gay Performer of the Year.
We’ll start out with some basic background information and then move on to the interview.
Birthday: June 3, 1986, Neylandville
Zodiac Sign: Gemini Man
Eye Color: Hazel Brown Mix
Body Type: Gym Wolf
GPB: Tell us a little about your background
I’m an authentic guy that doesn’t hide anything about myself or my life. I grew up in a small Texas town.
My dad is a cowboy but not in the way we often see southern people are portrayed in some media. He’s loving and affirming of the work I do. So is my mom.
GPB: How did you get into the adult film industry?
It was really an addition to the stand-up comedy work I’m currently doing. I believe my first p**n movie happened in 2015. Both are forms of entertainment and both make people happy. It was just a natural fit for me.
GPB: Are family and friends cool with you doing adult film?
Absolutely! My parents have always supported me throughout life. I know that might seem unusual to some because it’s not in line with the stereotypes about southern people – particularly from Texas.
My friends are also very supportive of me. I wouldn’t want to be close to people who weren’t.
GPB: What’s something people don’t know about you?
Great question! In my life, I’ve always gravitated towards people who are different and misunderstood. My folks taught me to respect everyone because we are all equal.
GPB: What’s Your favorite app?
I’ll level with you – I am a sports fanatic! When I was in school, I played all sorts of sports – but namely basketball.
So, to answer your question, my favorite app is ESPN. I’m constantly on that thing checking stories, scores, and who is doing what in the world of sports.
If you ask me about an athlete’s stats, there’s a good chance I’ll know the answer.
More: Meet Damon Heart!
GPB: Have you ever slept with a fan?
Yes, I have! It’s one of my favorite things to do. I like being comfortable enough to be able to do it and not put on airs. By nature, I am a giver. There’s no shame in connecting with people who like you.
GPB: What do you do in your free time?
I’m the outdoorsy type so I really like getting out in nature. Hiking can be a lot of fun. But because I am a spiritual person, I also like to become one with the planet. I even journal from time to time.
Oh, and there’s the gym. I am there a lot.
GPB: Where would you like to be 5-10 years from now?
Five years or fifty-years from today – I’d like to be making a difference in the world. If I am involved in things that make it easier for others to live, that would be great.
Part of this means breaking down stereotypes and barriers.
GPB: Do you have a mantra?
Yep – Hoe with a Hard-on. Don’t be ashamed of sex or sexuality. Most important, be respectful of others.
GPB: Do you have a spirit animal?
I’ve never been asked that question – too, funny. Yeah, to be honest I think my spirit animal is a pig![Editor’s note: see meaning of pig spirit animal here].
GPB: Thanks for your time
You are welcome and thank you for the interview!
