My review of My Vacation to Jamaica. I had a wonderful Time at the RIU NEGRIL RESORT. The people of Jamaica were very friendly. I was expecting people to be homophobic but they were actually very nice. Were they Gay Friendly?…..yes….To a degree…

  1. Great Hotel Walter … I stayed there last April at the same Riu Resort in Negril for a friends family Reunion had a great time there !!

  2. I STAYED THERE ALSO. I WAS THERE IN 2016. I MET A GUY THERE THAT WAS AN EMPLOYEE AND WE ARE STILL TALKING. I PLAN TO GO BACK IN 2018. I DIDNT LEAVE RESORT EITHER. I HAD A WONDERFUL TIME. I AM HAPPY THAT YOU HAD A GOOD TIME.

  3. Walter I've been watching your vids for a few years now and I kinda lapsed 'cause I was changing careers, going to nursing school etc but I'm now catching up and you are amazing, the stories and everything, forget TV I'm just between my online classes and I'm binge watching all over the place!!! You definitely have something…good work dude. And oh visit Barbados super gay friendly (the other islands think we're gay central) and of course that's where I'm from so I'm biased lol but it's a cute island too!!!

  4. Many gays visit Jamaica and have no problems. Renting a villa is another great option just search online for gay friendly one and travel in a group to share the cost. It is quite safe to visit Jamaica gay or straight; it is one of the safest places for tourists despite what you hear. Just don't do dumb things like going into inner city areas without an escort or meeting strangers for sex etc. I wouldn't suggest being too "openly gay" in public or off-property.

  5. Im Jamaican im here in Jamaica an me DON'T care if gay as long as you dont act like a sissy drama queen ur good there are lots of gays, transgender transsexuals here who lives there lives openly and no one messes with them

  6. CIEL 222 The country is no more homophobic than USA. Jamaican culture discourages men from behaving like weak sissies. Walter isnt a sissy so had no problem.  Mind your own business. Your culture loves when your men behave like helpless fairy child Jamaica does not so accept it and move on.

  7. You piece of crap talking about women being single handedly responsible for the state of black America. Wanna know why these kids dont havecany father is because 90 % of black American men are worthless pieces of crap and the next 10% are gay. So do the math. You have some nerve

  8. A lot of people have these pre-conceived notion that "Jamaicans are abusive towards Gays"–whether physically, verbally…you name it! But, that's not so at all. YES, some people may act a certain way towards SOME "Gays", but not all of them. If you are flamboyant and over the top…you know…men dressing up in women's clothing, outlandish makeup, tricking and fooling the men into believing that you're a "real" woman e.t.c. That's when it could probably become a little problematic! Areas also have a lot to do with it…the people in the cities may react differently towards Gays, as opposed to the ones who were born and raised in the country/village areas. The village inhabitants may have extremely HARD time accepting Gays, but the city ones may be a little more tolerant.

  9. Is " Earl" on the down low. …why haven't we seen a photo of him..I've watched many YouTube vids of You tubers showing their partners …you can't demand queen Latifah to come out of the closet but then want us to respect " Earl's" decision to stay hidden with HIS sexuality

  10. That's awesome you had a good vacation. Well, I think the reason they wanted to take pics of you is because u are appealing to the eye, your physique is amazing, you're a gd looking big tall black man who wouldn't want a pic lol. Yes u can pass for a football player, u have the neck. And u don't come across as gay, I don't think too many ppl knew u 2 were a couple

  11. Welcome back Mr. Hampton! I am glad to hear that you and Earl had a wonderful time in Jamaica!!!  What you said about Jamaica and the "DL" men there is spot on! I am half Jamaican and lets say the culture is "its ok to be gay (on the DL), but do not act like a flamboyant queen"!!!

  12. It is a beautiful Island Walter , but understand this is a country that is HATEFUL, VERY HOMOPHOBIC, and it's not in the 21ST CENTURY, like Russia, Nigeria, Iran, Irak, Saudi Arabia these type of countries.
They think that you are STRAIGHT , so that's why you don't hear anything from any BIGOTS
So I ALERT any LGBT person who doesn't know not to go there.
It is a stupid thing to go to a country and spend your money , when you can't be who you are and there are no laws at all to protect you . It's like you went and gave your money to THE DEVIL.
LGBT JAMAICANS try to see if they can leave the country, so I really don't see what sense it makes for any LGBT person outside to go visit this country.
