  1. Nope, not really. I consider the platoon mates around me my brothers. Sure, the first time I see them I would think they're cute etc but after a few days, it just wears off. That said, everyone has a different experience, but this mine. 🙂

  2. Actually I've had counsellors while I was studying in the polytechnic and serving NS in the SAF. Both my counsellors were very very helpful and helped me through a difficult time coming to terms with myself as a gay person.

    7 years later, I'm a well-adjusted gay man in his mid 20's. So don't let all these things fool you. Counsellors really want to help someone, and if it's beyond their experience/expertise, they will refer you to someone who has it. 🙂

  3. Seems very squirming rather than straight forward. I wont answer but will tell the kid he/she needs counselling. That's really going to help a kid with confidence problems. Also I've read the guidelines for counselors and they state they should promote a 'heterosexual stable family'. How is this recoiled with taking care of the students' well being?
