I do not understand. I can literally go out right now and fuck a guy and it is not that gay compared to what I have learned about straight friends over the years. From sword fighting, to soggy biscuit games, to group jacking in the woods with each other. I get grossed out as much as getting an unsolicited close up picture of a prolapsed asshole on grindr, not kink shameing, but seriously WHY!

  1. Homo-erotic play is not homosexuality. Men have dicks, they have sex drives, and they like to share these things in certain environments. That doesn’t make them gay. What makes someone gay is being attracted to people of the same sex.

By getting hung up about your straight friends indulging in male sex play, you’re reinforcing the homophobic stereotypes that men *just don’t do that sort of thing*. Men can be affectionate with each other. Men can play sex games. Men can play piss games. It’s natural. It’s not a problem. It’s only a problem because of homophobia: “If you show your dick to another man, that makes you gay – and *being gay is bad*.” It’s not gay, and it’s not bad. Ironically, you’re perpetuating homophobia when you get hung up about this.

Let your straight friends have their fun. And you have your fun. Live and let live. Isn’t that what we all want?
